I’m on the downward climb of one of the hardest things I have ever done; move! For thirteen years we lived at our former house and called it home.  We had babies there, our kids learned to ride their bikes and it was where our Christmas tree and pumpkins created memories as the seasons passed.  We planted sunflowers every spring and my neighbor grew me Blue Bonnets (from my native Texas) that I planted in my ‘grow-anything-under-the sun spot’ by the front door.

This past Saturday two moving trucks came and piece by piece stacked all the earthly treasure we have into some moving vans and drove it all to our new abode.

Oh I love my new house and in no time I’ll have Christmas trees and pumpkins, sunflowers and I still have one child who has yet to learn to ride a bike.  The house is perfect for our family, it feels like letting out a loop or two in a tight belt.  It is spacious and not only that it is unbelievably close to everything I do in my life (besides my church).  Yesterday a friend called and offered to take my sophomore to school every day; that’s a far cry from living where there were slim pickings for carpooling half an hour away.
